The Governor of Khartoum State, Mr. Ahmed Osman Hamza, stopped the production of flour at the mills of the Rotana factory in the industrial zone of Gili north of Bahri, as part of efforts to secure the needs of bakeries of flour and ensure the continued provision of bread, in light of the increases in prices.

During his visit to the mills, Al-Wali listened to an explanation from the factory management about the production processes and their continuity, while the factory manager, Eng. Al-Muizz Hamza, confirmed that the factory is working at full capacity, and that production is going well, stressing their commitment to stand with the state and its plan to address the current distress.

Ahmed Osman reassured Hamza on the exact position and production rates, praising the efforts made to ensure the continuation of the mills and provide the needs of citizens.

Regarding the distribution of flour, the governor pointed out that there are some observations and overlap in the competencies, which may lead to a defect in the distribution process, directed to tighten control and ensure the operation of all bakeries and provide bread for citizens.

The visit comes at a time when it is increasingly important to ensure the supply of flour and control its distribution, to ensure the stability of bread production and meet the needs of citizens in Khartoum state.
