The Government of the Sudan condemned the terrorist attack on a church in the province of Karak in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which resulted in deaths and injuries, expressing its full solidarity with the Government and people of Jordan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation affirmed, in a press statement today, Sudan's firm rejection of all forms of violence, terrorism and criminal acts, whatever their reasons, stressing the rejection of targeting places of worship and intimidation of safe worshipers.
The Sudanese government expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and to the Jordanian government and the Jordanian people, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
Khartoum reiterated its rejection of terrorist acts targeting civilians and places of worship, stressing its solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the face of these events.
