In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Government of Sudan condemned in the strongest terms the brutal terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia on King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Saturday, October 10, 2026, which resulted in the death of twelve people, including a Sudanese citizen, and the injury of 309 other innocent civilians.

The Government of the Republic of Sudan condemns in the strongest terms the brutal terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia on King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Saturday, 10 October 2026, which resulted in the death of twelve people, including a Sudanese citizen, and the injury of 309 other innocent civilians.

The Government of the Sudan affirms that this heinous attack on a vital civilian facility is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, a flagrant attack on the sovereignty, security and stability of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a serious threat to civil aviation security, regional and international peace and security.

The Government of the Sudan expresses its full and firm solidarity with the leadership, Government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and affirms its firm support for the Kingdom in all its legitimate measures to protect its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity and to safeguard the lives of its citizens and residents.

The Government of the Sudan extends its sincere condolences to the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people, and to the families of all the victims, asking Almighty God to grant the victims His mercy and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.

The Government of the Sudan reiterates its unequivocal condemnation of all terrorist acts targeting civilians and vital installations and calls upon the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in confronting these attacks and to put an end to any threat to the security and stability of the region.

The Government of the Sudan affirms that the security and stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia constitute a fundamental pillar of security and stability in the region and that solidarity with it in the face of such attacks is a fraternal duty and a shared responsibility.

May Allah preserve the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and grant it the blessings of security, safety and stability.
