Minister of Finance Jibril Ibrahim discussed with the CEO of the International Center for Multilateral Development Zhongjing Wang, in the presence of Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan Sami Abdul Hafiz, ways of cooperation to support recovery and reconstruction projects in Sudan.
The two sides agreed to identify priority projects and develop feasibility studies and technical, environmental and social assessments to enhance their readiness for funding and implementation in accordance with international standards.
The understandings also included developing the capacity of government institutions and mobilizing additional funding for infrastructure, regional connectivity, basic services and productive sectors.
