Citizens in Hilla Younis, west of Berber city in the Nile River state, have launched an urgent appeal to the competent authorities to protect the environment, nature reserves and wildlife, to rescue a bird found in the region and likely from Europe.

Locals said the bird showed signs of fatigue, with visible injuries to its wings. The bird carries a bracelet with numbers and the name "Poland", which is likely to be followed or numbered in the programs to monitor migratory birds.

The citizens who found him tried to provide care and assistance to him, but they preferred to use specialists, and called on the competent authorities and veterinarians to reach and rescue the bird, until they were able to communicate with those who follow him in Europe.
