A new rebel Rapid Support Militia splinter force of about 200 fighters arrived in Omdurman on Sunday, including senior field commanders, led by field commander Abu Bakr Hamouda Dahlub, commander of the militia’s special mission intelligence division in North Kordofan state, in the areas of Hamra al-Sheikh and al-Mawla, and a member of the executive office.

The force announced that it had joined the armed forces fully armed, confirming its readiness to engage in combat operations alongside the armed forces, the joint forces and other supporting forces, with the aim of repulsing the rebel militia from the areas it still controlled.

The leader of the dissident group said in a statement to "SUNA", that the members of the force realized the mistake of being behind what he described as the "project of evil" carried out by the Dagalo family militia, stressing their bias to the national class and their readiness to fight to achieve the demands of the Sudanese people, foremost of which is the elimination of the rebel rapid support militia.

The leader of the group praised the leaders who preceded him in taking sides with the armed forces, especially Al-Nour Dome, Al-Safna, Musa 50, and others, pointing out that the group will work to expose what he described as the externally supported militia project, in addition to contributing to its elimination on the ground.

He also touched on the efforts made by leaders who contributed to the group's arrival in Khartoum, praising the role of the leaders of the armed forces, the General Intelligence and Security Service, the joint forces and the Revolutionary Awakening Council in securing their arrival in the capital.

He called on the leaders who are still working in the ranks of the militia to quickly get out of it and align themselves with what he described as the "Sudanese national project."
