Al-Burhan follows up efforts to rehabilitate Giad factories and restore production in the country

The Chairman of the Sovereign Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, today inspected the Giad Engineering Industries Group in Al-Baqir area, and was briefed on the progress of work and ongoing efforts to rehabilitate and operate factories and facilities that were damaged during the war.

Al-Burhan listened to a report presented by the CEO of Giad Group, Mr. Abdullah Abdul Maarouf, on the extent of damage to the Group's facilities, efforts to rehabilitate them and resume production, as well as plans to return the various sectors of the Group to work.

The Chairman of the Sovereign Council praised the efforts exerted by the employees of Giad Group to restore its industrial and production activity, stressing the importance of doubling work to accelerate the return of the group to its operational capacity and restore its various production areas.

Al-Burhan stressed the importance of the role played by Giad Group in supporting the national economy, stressing its contribution to the reconstruction efforts of Sudan and the rehabilitation of infrastructure, facilities and facilities damaged by the war.
