Today, Eritrea celebrated the anniversary of the Prophet's birth, amid a heavy official and popular presence, and with the participation of the Embassy of the Republic of the Sudan in Asmara, as well as a number of diplomatic missions accredited to Eritrea.
The celebrations witnessed a spiritual atmosphere full of love and tranquility, interspersed with anthems and prophetic praises, amid feelings of joy and faith, in a scene that reflected the greatness of the occasion and its place in the hearts of Muslims.
The event stressed the values of compassion, brotherhood and coexistence among the various components of Eritrean society, as the celebrations formed a national umbrella that reflected the diversity of society and the spirit of love and tolerance that unites the Eritrean people.
The participation of the Embassy of the Republic of the Sudan in Asmara came within the presence of the diplomatic corps, stressing the depth of relations and communication between the Sudanese and Eritrean peoples, and the mission's keenness to participate in religious and national events that reflect the common values between the two countries.
