In a new development in terms of defections, a splinter force of the Rapid Support Militia led by Brigadier General Moussa Ali Ahmed, known as “Fifty”, arrived in Omdurman with all its personnel and equipment.
The dissident commander of the Rapid Support Militia, Al-Nour Al-Duba, received the force upon its arrival, considering its accession a new addition to the ranks of the armed forces, calling on the rest of the militia to benefit from the amnesty of the commander-in-chief and join the armed forces.
The move comes after similar defections, including a force led by Musa "fifty" of about 50 vehicles, which had arrived in the city of al-Dabbah in the northern state of Sudre in the state of North Kordofan, according to military sources.
