Sudanese Prime Minister confirms state support for the plans and programs of the Standards and Metrology Authority

The Prime Minister, Professor Kamel Idris, affirmed the state's support for the plans, programs and projects of the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Authority, and praised the great role played by the Authority in supporting and protecting the national economy.

This came during a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Authority, Prof. Kamal El-Din El-Tayeb Yes, and member of the Board of Directors of the Authority, Dr. Nasr El-Din Shalgami, in the presence of the Director General of the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Authority, Mrs. Rahba Saeed Abdullah.

Professor Kamal El-Din El-Tayeb said in a press statement that he briefed the Prime Minister on the outcomes of the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Authority, which was held today following the decision to restructure the Board of Directors by the Prime Minister. He pointed out that the meeting dealt with the performance of the Commission during the past period and the achievements achieved, in addition to the plans of the Commission and its programs and projects for the next phase.
