Khartoum State congratulated the armed forces and the forces supporting them on their victories in a number of areas of North Kordofan state, praising the sacrifices that contributed to the restoration of new areas and the continuation of military operations.
The governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, said that the state supports the directives of the head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, to continue military operations until the restoration of control throughout the country.
He added that the appearance of proof among the soldiers in the recovered areas carries “deep messages,” and confirms that the leadership is at the heart of the battle alongside the fighters, and that Kordofan is in a safe position.
He stressed that the completion of the liberation of Khartoum state, according to his vision, is linked to the restoration of control throughout the country, announcing the state's citizens stand by the regular forces, pointing to the readiness of the popular resistance to support the armed forces and continue what he described as the march to defend the homeland.
