Menawi: Liberation of Bara, Umm Qarfa, Umm Sayyala and Jabrah al-Sheikh opens a new phase of operations

The governor of the Darfur region, Minni Arko Minawi, said that the restoration of control over the areas of Bara, Umm Qarfa, Umm Siyala and Jabrah al-Sheikh represents the beginning of a new phase in the conduct of military operations, stressing that the battle is not yet finished and that the forces are moving towards the decisive stage.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Minawi said that the armed forces, the joint forces and the resistance carried out military operations that he described as qualitative, resulting in confusion among the ranks of the Rapid Support Forces and causing significant loss of life and equipment, in addition to the collapse of their defenses in those areas.

Minawi concluded his publication by praising what he described as fighters’ championships, praising the martyrs, and wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded and injured.
