The Prime Minister, Professor Kamel Idris, affirmed the government's support for the war effort of the armed forces and the forces supporting them, praising the liberation of the city of Karmuk in the Blue Nile region, and congratulating the victories achieved in the framework of the battle to restore security and stability.
Idriss said that the liberation of Karmuk represents an important milestone in the process of regaining control over the entire national territory, stressing that the government will continue to provide the necessary support to the armed forces until the completion of their objectives, pointing out that the sacrifices of the martyrs formed the basis for the victories achieved.
The Prime Minister announced the development of an urgent plan for the reconstruction of the city and the rehabilitation of basic services, which contributes to the creation of conditions for the return of citizens to their areas and the practice of normal life, praising the steadfastness of the people of Karmuk in the face of the circumstances experienced by the region.
