Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Saif Al-Nasser Al-Tajani Haroun, discussed with the Minister in charge of the northern state, Mohammed Sayed Ahmed Fakri, the issues of national roads, transport and border crossings, stressing the importance of addressing the challenges facing infrastructure and supporting development projects in the state.

The meeting dealt with the conditions of the national road network affected by rain and excess loads, as well as plans for the maintenance and rehabilitation of a number of vital roads and the development of the Arqin and Eshkit crossings, as well as discussing the arrangements of an upcoming visit to an Egyptian delegation to discuss joint cooperation in the transport sector.
