The Sudanese Minister of Justice, Abdullah Deraf, arrived in the Egyptian capital Cairo to participate in the 76th meeting of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, hosted by the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
The meeting discussed a number of legal and legislative issues, including the report of the General Secretariat on the implementation of the decisions of the previous session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice and mechanisms for the implementation of the Arab Convention for the Suppression of Terrorism, as well as the unification of some Arab legislation and draft joint laws.
The meeting comes at a time when Sudan is presiding over the current session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, which gives its participation a special importance in discussing the issues on the agenda.
