The Sudanese embassy in London criticized what it described as inaccurate information reported by a British newspaper about the Belfast incident, saying that the report contained misleading allegations about the suspect's identity and background.

The embassy confirmed its condemnation of the incident and its respect for the course of justice, but rejected what it considered attempts to link the accused to parties or qualities that are not based on official information, noting that the data issued by the Police of Northern Ireland does not support the report.

She also expressed regret that the corrections she submitted to the newspaper were not published, warning that the circulation of inaccurate information may affect the safety of individuals and disrupt the investigation, calling for adherence to professional standards and waiting for the results of official investigations.
