Government Commission Continues International War Crimes Litigation Arrangements

The Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Derf chaired the meeting of the Committee for the establishment and follow-up of international cases against the terrorist Al-Daqlo militia and its leaders and supporting countries, in the presence of members of the Committee at the Ministry's headquarters.

The meeting reviewed the reports of the subcommittees on international and regional legal tracks, the identification of States whose legislation allows for the prosecution of war crimes and crimes against humanity, as well as the report of the Evidence Committee.

The meeting approved the report of the legal tracks, and directed the completion of the work of the Evidence Committee in preparation for the beginning of the drafting of legal petitions after the completion of its tasks.
