The Governor of Khartoum State Ahmed Osman Hamza praised the efforts of the men of righteousness and charity in the rehabilitation of health facilities, praising the contributions of the family of Mohammed Al-Amin Hamid, which culminated in the re-operation of the Mohammed Al-Amin Hamid Children's Hospital in Omdurman.
During the opening ceremony, the governor stressed the continuation of the state's efforts to rehabilitate health institutions despite the destruction and looting, praising the steadfastness of medical staff and employees of the Ministry of Health under the current circumstances.
He called on national organizations and philanthropists to continue to support the reconstruction plans of the affected hospitals, pointing to the importance of integrating efforts to rehabilitate the health sector.
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Ali Babiker, confirmed the continuation of work in coordination with the Ministry of Health to complete the stages of reconstruction and restoration of services.
The Director General of the Ministry of Health in the state, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Badri, said that the ministry has moved to the stage of expansion and development of health services, pointing out the progress made in resuming a number of specialized services in hospitals.
