Manawi warns of misinformation campaigns targeting the internal row unit

The governor of Darfur warned of what he described as media disinformation campaigns aimed at influencing the home front and fomenting division, stressing the importance of maintaining national cohesion in light of the challenges facing the country.

In a post on social media, Minawi said that parties linked to the “establishment” coalition were working to spread misleading information and rumors with the aim of fomenting sedition and instability.

He denied the existence of differences between national leaders as reported in some publications circulating, considering that these allegations are not based on true facts and aim to distort the political scene.

Minawi stressed his commitment to the unity of the internal row, stressing the importance of joint work to meet the current challenges and strengthen national stability.
