Senegal renews support for Sudan unity, boosts bilateral cooperation

Senegal reiterated its support for the sovereignty, unity and security of Sudan, stressing its keenness to strengthen bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

This came during the reception of the Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs and Senegalese abroad, Sheikh Niang, to the Ambassador of Sudan to Senegal, Abdulghani Al-Naim Awad Al-Karim, who handed him a written letter from Sudanese Foreign Minister Mohiuddin Salem Ahmed.

The two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral relations and strengthen coordination in regional and international forums on issues of common concern, while the Senegalese official stressed his country's continued support for Sudan during the current stage.
