Minawi: Sudan faces challenges to its unity and calls for national cohesion

He said that Sudan is going through a delicate phase that requires concerted national efforts to face the challenges that threaten the unity and stability of the country, calling for strengthening national cohesion and standing together to preserve the sovereignty of the state.

Minawi’s remarks came during a visit to the city of Damazin in the Blue Nile region, where he held meetings with political and security leaders and briefed on the developments in the region, including security and humanitarian issues.

He stressed that the national responsibility requires cooperation between the various components of the Sudanese people to face the current challenges, stressing the importance of strengthening good-neighbourly relations and regional cooperation to contribute to supporting security and stability.
