The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed Sudan's full solidarity with the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, condemning the attacks and assaults that targeted the territories of the two countries, considering them a violation of their sovereignty and a threat to their security and stability.
These attacks violate the principles of international law and the UN Charter, pose a direct threat to the security and stability of the two countries and the region, and undermine regional and international efforts to reduce tension and prevent further escalation.
Khartoum reiterated its stand with Kuwait and Bahrain in the face of any threat to their security or sovereignty, reiterating its rejection of all hostile acts targeting civilians or vital installations or threatening the stability and territorial integrity of countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for respect for the sovereignty of countries and the principles of good-neighbourliness and adherence to the provisions of international law, stressing the importance of addressing tensions through peaceful means to contribute to enhancing regional security and stability.
Sudan also affirmed its support for efforts to achieve stability in the region, pointing out the right of Kuwait and Bahrain to take the necessary measures to protect their security, sovereignty and territorial integrity in accordance with international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
