The Coordination of the Fasher Resistance Committees accused the Rapid Support Militia of carrying out drone attacks targeting civilian markets in the areas of Karnoi and Tine in North Darfur state, resulting in deaths and injuries among civilians.

The Coordination said in a statement that drones belonging to the Rapid Support Militia bombed today the market of the Karnoi region, causing a number of deaths and injuries, describing the incident as a "new massacre" among a series of violations targeting civilians.

A similar drone attack hit the market in Tine yesterday, killing 14 people, including two women, and injuring more than 50 others.

The coordination pointed out that the areas of Karnoy and Tine are under the control of the joint forces allied with the Sudanese army, saying that targeting markets is a direct threat to civilians and commercial activity in the region.
