Dr. Moatassim Ahmed Saleh, Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, accompanied by the Minister of Health, the representative of the Governor of Blue Nile Region and a leading delegation from the Health Insurance and Zakat Bureau, inspected the therapeutic camps organized by the National Health Insurance Fund in cooperation with its partners; In order to stand on the ground at the level of medical care provided to those affected by the events in the region.
The inspection tour included the “Alkarama 3” camp south of Al Damazin, where the minister reviewed the services of the second therapeutic camp of the municipality of Al-Karmak, which provides an integrated system of care including general medicine, women and obstetrics, sound waves, and psychological support, in addition to the launch of health insurance cards for families sponsored by the Zakat Bureau, and inspecting mobile clinics for the “Jabal Al-Khawar” center in partnership with Future Generations.
In the same context, the field visit extended to the province of Rusires in the region of “Kenis East”, where the minister and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the governor of Rusires, the second therapeutic camp dedicated to the displaced of the province of Qaisan, as part of the plan to expand comprehensive health coverage and alleviate the suffering of displaced families in the region.
