The Ministry of Health in Khartoum State has discussed the final arrangements for the re-operation of the Chinese hospital in Omdurman, after the completion of advanced stages of maintenance and rehabilitation work, as part of the efforts to restore health services in medical institutions in the state.
The Director General of the Ministry of Health in Khartoum State, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Badri, said during a meeting with the hospital administration that the ministry is working to complete the technical and administrative aspects necessary to restart the hospital at full capacity during the coming period.
The meeting discussed the level of readiness of the various medical departments in preparation for the resumption of treatment services, which contributes to supporting the health sector in Omdurman and easing the pressure on other working hospitals.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the General Administration of Therapeutic Medicine and the Director of Hospital Administration from the Ministry, along with the Director General and the Medical and Administrative Director of the Chinese Hospital, who stressed the importance of speeding up the completion of the remaining equipment to ensure the hospital's return to service as soon as possible.
