The head of the National Committee for Mobilization and Popular Resistance in Sudan, Lieutenant General Bashir Makki Bahi, said that the victory of the armed forces and the forces supporting them in what is known as the "Battle of Dignity" has become "very soon and quickly," praising the military progress made by government forces in various axes.

Al-Bahi's remarks came during a visit he made, accompanied by members of the National Committee for Alertness, to the region of Thebes al-Bilab (Zindi) in the Blue Nile region, to offer condolences to the family of the leader Dafallah al-Tom Abu Jalabiya.

Al-Bahi said that the war “united the Sudanese and gathered their word,” adding that the developments on the ground made citizens “know who the enemy is and who the friend is.”

He pointed to what he described as the transition of the armed forces from the defense stage to the offensive stage, with successive field gains, praising the response of the people of the Blue Nile region to the popular alert operations and their participation in countering the attacks of the Rapid Support Forces.

For his part, the head of the Higher Committee for Mobilization and Popular Resistance in the Blue Nile region, Dr. Farah Al-Aqar, announced the graduation of the Martyr Atef Ahaban Battalion within what is known as the Martyr Abu Jalabiya Movement.

He described the mobile property as "holding the end of the war" and the path to victory in the Blue Nile region, he said.
