An audio message from the dissident commander of the Rapid Support Militia, Ali Rizkallah, revealed details regarding the fate of former adviser Yousef Ezzat, confirming that he has been detained since October 2025 following his resignation.
Al-Safna said that what he described as the prisons of the Rapid Support Forces have become, according to him, an arena for settling internal accounts, in light of the intensification of differences within the leadership circle.
The letter added that the disparities within the leadership ranks went beyond the political framework to what it described as a “conflict of interests,” noting that coalitions within the group are managed individually, which has exacerbated internal divisions.
The letter, according to observers, sparked a wide debate about the escalation of the wave of defections within the Rapid Support Militia during the recent period, in light of increasing indicators of disparity within its leadership structure.
