The fourth member of the family of “Dedan” killed in the battles in Sudan

The Sudanese family of "Dedan" announced yesterday night that Zaher Dedan was killed during the fighting in the country, becoming the fourth member of the family to die since the outbreak of war in Sudan.

The family said the four dead were Khaled, Nazir, Ali, and Zaher Dedan, who died in the ongoing military operations.

In a Facebook post, the spokesman for the Special Action Forces supporting the Sudanese army, Mohammed Dedan, Zaher Dedan and all the dead, stressing that "these sacrifices renew the promise to continue fighting."

The incident indicates an escalation of casualties among Sudanese families involved in the fighting, as the war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces continued since April 2023.
